No only Mexican come illegally to US. There are people over the world who are living here illegally. Also, a long time ago your relatives came to live to this country that didn't belong to them. The only people who are legal in this country are native american (indians), tha's it.

Daniel,
True, maybe we cannot open our borders wide, but let's take it case by case. You don't know why Sara came here. Life in Ecuador has been very hard for many due to no jobs, or very low pay. Maybe she is here due to reasons you don't know which are compelling. And now her daughter is American born. I say let the mother and father become citizens, not just live here. Let this family have a normal life.
I am American born and my ancestors came here 150 years ago. And I am not Hispanic. Just to say that.

You're wrong about the majority of illegal felons aka illegal aliens not being on welfare. They are. How arrogant for these people assuming they even have the right, and how stupid of our government not enforcing the law. They are not American citizens. These people are raping the American people to the tune of $113 billion per year - take than times 10, 20, or 30 years. You still wondering why our country is on the verge of collapse. It is one thing if we willingly help during a disaster, but it is entirely different when these arrogant people come here illegally and feel they are entitled. I have no problem with immigration from any country; if it is done legally. I have no problem with LB599 if it covers American citizens only. Our government needs to read what our constitution says about immigration. Immigration laws were put in place to protect the country. Having 15 million illegals in the US is an invasion. You still wondering why America is failing. We have a problem, and our government is doing nothing to solve it. If you step across our borders without proper paperwork, it is a felony. During Reagan's Presidency, we rewarded illegal felons with amnesty. Really kills me when these illegal felons have more rights than American citizens. I feel that if you cross illegally, whether you are pregnant or not, you should be sent back to your native country - and before these women give birth. This country cannot afford to continue to cover these arrogant illegal felons for many more years.

I agree with you! Many undocumented workers are responsible and hard workers, too!

I know the fact that we are all unsure of what would happen to us after a while, even for legal settlers! But, I bet they must still get registered to help them be free from worries when emergency rises, and the benefits they could keep as well!

Deport them, if they aren't legal to be here they have to go.
All people who aren't from this country are doing is finding someone, getting them knocked up and trying to get citizenship from it. Our taxes pay for their food stamps and medicaid for them to have more babies. It just does not make any sense for me, if you want to be in this country go through the steps to get legal here before you go around knocking up someone or getting knocked up before you try to file for citizenship. You should not get any of our tax payers benefits without being a full 100% american citizen. People from different Countries go through immigration and do everything they need to do before coming over here, why can't others do the same?.
