Comprehensive Reform Key To Fixing Our Economy

Tonight President Obama said Congress should continue the work of fixing our broken immigration system. The Reform Immigration FOR America campaign shares the President’s position that we should continue to work on fixing our broken immigration system and that our history as a nation of immigrants and our diversity is a source of national strength. Congress and the President must go further, however. Our broken immigration system is a national crisis and an integral part of fixing the economy. Comprehensive immigration reform will add $1.5 trillion to the U.S. economy, drive up wages for all workers, and support nearly a million jobs. It will improve the situation for all workers and honest businesses, and will bring more tax revenue into the system.
