Our Families Need Relief

Every day, the Obama administration deports 1,100 people – more than any previous administration. That’s 1,100 families who are hurt every single day by our dysfunctional immigration system. Families across America also live fearful of ICE raids, and the pain that comes from experiencing the hatred behind laws like Arizona’s “show me your papers” law, which the state is still trying to enforce despite a judge’s ruling.
Politics has thus far trumped moral and practical solutions, but on September 15, people of faith and immigrant advocates will gather to discuss a way forward for immigration reform at the Relief, Reform, Respect for our Families Forum.
These leaders from across the political spectrum will alsoshare the stories of these families and everyone who suffers under our dysfunctional immigration system with Congress, and they won’t leave until everyone’s voice is heard.
