March For America

Today we are at a pivotal moment in the history of this nation. We are faced with a choice. We can do nothing, and watch as new American families are torn apart by the broken immigration system; watch as profiteers continue to take advantage of people desperate for work; and watch as all American families struggle to find good jobs and make ends meet. Or we can stand up, and stand together for our families and our communities. Join thousands from across the country at the March For America in Washington, DC on March 21st. It is up to us to make sure that campaign trail promises are turned into real policies that help lift all American families in 2010.

Demand action! We need you in DC at 1:00pm at the Lincoln Memorial to show our collective power and energy. Join the March For America. Mark your calendars for Sunday, March 21st. Contact Reform Immigration FOR America. Find families, churches and community organizations in your area and bring them to the march.

  1. I seriously don’t believe it. I pray Rooney is ok for the world cup!

“Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe unto him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.”
    – The Bible: Ecclesiastes 4:9-10.

I will agree, Tonnywarfare. The reason I started looking at this website was to try to understand opposing views. Solutions are not one-sided. Every voter in the U.S. has a right to be heard.
I do not hate anyone. I strongly do not like liers, cheats, and thieves. Especially if those types expect to be rewarded for their actions. There is no disagreement that immigration needs to be fixed. However, giving those who violate the rules any kind of reward will not stop illegal immigration. As proven in 1986, it only encourages more to come and wait for the next chance at “reform”.
Frankly, I do not have faith in this government to fix anything. It is up to regular people like you and I to be able to debate the issue without name calling and without hate.
God Bless you too, and may He protect those who trust in Him.

Every men and women have different reasons why they leave their homeland, is true that the majority come from Latin America specially Mexico but that does not mean that we don’t have people from the old continent as well is just hard to tell cause most of this folks are not always brown! but like always we try to resolve problems outside our borders first we have to have better legislation cause immigration is not going to end but we have to control and secure the way that people get here, is a problem that involve everybody, these are human beings too, I don’t feel different or superior from them, treat all of them like criminals or even worse like terrorist is not the solution, immigration reform is not about just giving is about making sure that you have earn the privilege to be part of this wonderful society, is about sitting with the leaders of nations like Mexico to have a better vision of future migrations, this is a very sensitive and important matter that have to be discuss and find a way to fix it, but in order to fix something you have to be willing to face the problems not just throw more fire or just speak and never act or act and stand aside when a child is been hurt or families have to wait years to get back together and this is because they want to keep a political seat on the senate or worse when they need a vote to get elected. I’m here to simple leave my humble opinion, I don’t hate you cause if I do I will look just like our senate with just one little different they get paid to argue, to hate each other, but I guess they forgot that they are there to work to give us solutions not excuses, so my fellow American lets not act like they do and if I ever offend you I truly apologies, I might not agree with what you said, I will respect your opinion promise to give you my point of view but lets be more productive not destructive on our thoughts.

Thank you and God bless you.

    Sincerely,

    Tonny

Why do you criticize me, Tonnywarfarse? Is it true that the horrible conditions in Mexico and all Latin America forces MILLIONS of her citizens to flee to the U.S.? What hope will those countries ever have if all the brave, outspoken patriots leave rather than fight?

  6. Tonnywarfare says:

When I am getting ready to reason with a man, I spend one-third of my time thinking about myself and what I am going to say and two-thirds about him and what he is going to say.

My melodramatic friend good to have you back! Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt.

    Have a Nice Day Lerdo!

  7. Lynn says:

And the March should continue to Mexico City. To protest a government that forces workers to leave their families and homeland and become criminals in a foreign country. The government that for decades has failed to acheive its potential. A government that depends on its citizens violating the laws of the U.S. for most of its income…..A government that refuses to offer hope for a better life for its own children.
