Today, November 18th, Representative Luis Gutierrez will hold a national telephonic town hall to lay out how we are going to win this fight. Thousands of people will be joining the call to hear what Rep. Gutierrez has to say, ask their questions and voice their concerns.

Oh, and we should probably mention there are nearly 900  house parties happening across the country that night. Attendees will be joining the call alongside other immigration reform supporters in order to energize and build the movement for reform.

Oddly enough, this past Saturday, some of the most vocal immigration reform opponents hosted parties of their own. A whopping 50 parties were reported, with a few where counter-protestors actually out-numbered the party goers.

What does this mean?

We have the momentum on our side. We have people across the country who are ready to take action. We have what it takes to make immigration reform in 2010 a reality.

And YOU are going to be the deciding factor. Will you join us on tonight to party for immigration reform?

Here’s 2 ways to plug in:

  1. Attend a party in your area. Click here to search for a party near you.
  2. Tell your friendsTweet it, Post to Facebook, Email your contacts

Recently, DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano talked about why the fight for immigration reform is different and stronger this time around. On Wednesday, let’s show her just how much stronger we are!

Please, I urge you to do something for those like my husband who tried to return to Mexico under our lawyers advice to coem back legally but instead was given a lifetime ban and not allowed to try again until after ten years have passed.

My husband has no criminal record, has always paid taxes and we are homeowners. We have a 1 year old son that misses his father more than anyone can imagine. But now he must remain in Mexico, please, if there is a reform, do not forget those that are in this situaution.

There are thousands that have returned to Mecxico only to be banned from returning. It is not fair for ur families to be separated like this. My son and I are both USC, we need my husband here with us.

Please do not forget those that left in order to make things right but instead were harshly punished.
