Last night at the White House, we gathered to light candles on the day Arizona’s ‘papers please’ law went into effect.
We lit candles for the activists on the ground in Arizona, many of whom were arrested yesterday. We lit candles for the people protesting in San Francisco, New York, in Chicago and everywhere else across the country. And we lit candles for the 27,000 of you who stood with us by texting LIGHT to 69866.

Our vigil last night was a moment to stand in solidarity with others for justice and a moment to reflect on the fight ahead. The ruling earlier this week was proof that we are on the right side of this fight but the work continues. Until we pass real and just comprehensive immigration reform, we risk continuing this fight state-by-state, an Arizona-style domino effect that will do nothing to solve the civil rights crisis currently facing our communities.

so if the feds wont enforce their own criminal laws, why shouldn’t the states protect themselves? And why in hell should the feds complain–unless they don’t want to enforce their own laws except against small targets!
Self defense is ALWAYS and option.
And each state has a constitution and laws of it’s ow.
This “judgement” is stupid, but it conforms with the liberal/communist views of our country!
