Two weeks after over 200,000 people (including 9,000 from Illinois) Marched For America filling the National Mall in Washington DC, advocates and allies will Rally for America in Chicago, Illinois. Senator Durbin, a long time champion of immigration reform and undocumented youth, will be in attendance and has agreed to take leadership to introduce a bipartisan immigration reform bill in the Senate by April 30th.
In recognition of that historic effort the event will also celebrate the work of the hundreds of bus captains and thousands of riders from Illinois that helped make the March for America such a success.
