America’s Voice has been steadily working towards the goal of airing a Drop Dobbs ad on CNN. Originally, the target was to run the ad during CNN’s off-the-mark “Latino in America”, which featured no mention of good ole Leprosy Lou.
When CNN turned them down – hmmm… wonder why – they persisted and eventually started shopping the ad around on different networks. Last night, the ad ran for the first time on MSNBC.
By refusing to deal with Lou Dobbs and his nightly tirade against immigrants, Latinos, and people of color, CNN is quickly losing credibility as the “Most Trusted Name in News.” As people become aware of the network’s one-sided coverage of immigration, they will start changing the channel — which is exactly what we did. America’s Voice is airing the ad on MSNBC!
Featured during the Rachel Maddow show, the ad ran in Atlanta, DC, Los Angeles, Chicago and New York. I didn’t get to catch it last night, but would love to hear from any of you that did. (Also, leave comments over at America’s Voice.)
The drum beat against Dobbs is steadily growing louder and CNN is clearly feeling the pressure – why else refuse to run the ad?

Without Lou Dobb’s, Glenn Beck, O’Reilly commentary Americans would never know about the cloaked agenda of the open border zealots. Lou brought the un-exaggerated truth about the 20 to 30 million illegal immigration invasion from every corner of the world? I watch CNN (cable) every day and never heard journalists mention anything about any specific indigenous people regarding the illegal immigration occupancy of our country. He only talk about the gigantic difference who came as newcomers, honestly through the inspection process and do not expect financial government handouts. Not stealing into America like thieves in the night, demanding rights and respect, that is laughable in the eyes of the majority of the legal population. Some new immigrants wait in line for their visa to enter America, not make excuses because they cheated US workers of their jobs. Go home and come through the front door to be welcomed. Americans all live by the “Rule of Law” so why should people who overstay their tourist visa or just slip by the Border Patrol expect a welcome? Journalist, news-anchors has a right to speak his mind and the US populace will fight any restrictions that deny that right. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press. Now these ethnic caucuses are pushing to silence Why don’t these illegal aliens go home and try shoving this opinion down the throats of other world governments. NOT IN AMERICA?

Lou Dobbs brings the only voice of reason to the entire ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION issue. He’s not a racist. Not by any stretch of the imagination. It is remarkable how arrogant your group has become, expecting those of us who are here LEGALLY to accept that those of you who are NOT here legally deserve legal status.
Hooray for Mr. Dobbs and his quest to bring logic to this issue, which is so ridiculously self serving on your part.
IT IS WRONG TO SNEAK ACROSS THE BORDER, USE A STOLEN SS# IN ORDER TO BE HIRED AT LOWER THAN AVERAGE WAGE, AND THEN CALL YOURSELF AN IMMIGRANT.
Those of us who did it the right way are deeply offended.
