How can “A Closer Look at Immigration Reform legislation in the New Year” NOT include the Uniting American Families Act (H.R. 1024/S.424)? Do we, the gay and lesbian Americans with foreign-born partners and spouses not count in your movement here? Why can I not find a single word on your website about the horror stores, the separations, the exiles, WE have endured? I’d like to hear for some of the executive management of your organization exactly what you position is with regard to gay and lesbian Americans who suffer from the broken immigration system as much as anyone already mentioned here. What do you have to say? If you are not willing to publicly support our quest for immigration equality, why should we help you in any way. Frankly, we are sick of being treated as invisible. Mary Giovagnoli, and the directors of this organization, what do you have to say?

Alex Aguirre Gutierrez is right to push the reform envelope , but he must go back to the drawing board. And while he’s there forget the prayer and vigils and sob stories and instead talk to people about this country’s economic progress. If interested parties , supporters , who ever want to see productive pragmatic and therefore humane immigration reform pass the house and senate , they need to break out the business case. Let’s see the numbers. Get a truly BIPARTISAN panel into a room with a team of statistical analysts tasked with creating an unbiased accounting of the coast and benefits of legalization. Mr. Gutierrez , yo quiero que pase esta reforma con todo mi corrazon pero esta propuesta nesesita un poco de Apollo de los republicanos, I want to see this bill past but we need to get real, this bill needs MAJOR support from atleast some house republican we are already the underdogs but we can’t and shouldn’t fight with both our hands tide behind our backs, find those republicans mr. Gutierrez PLEASE !! Thanks immigration supporter
